Privacy
Your data stays yours.
Verqury is single-user and local-first by design.
The app
- No accounts. There's no sign-up and no login.
- Nothing phones home. The app doesn't report usage, send analytics, or contact us at all.
- Build metrics stay on your machine. Verqury can optionally measure your own build activity — time, tokens, lines of code, cost — by reading files your AI tool already writes locally and by listening on a loopback address that nothing outside your computer can reach. It is off until you switch it on, the numbers are stored as plain files in your own data directory, and none of it is transmitted anywhere.
- No cloud sync. All your project memory, guidance, artifacts, and tasks live in a directory of plain files on your own machine.
- Update checks are manual. The app only reaches the web when you explicitly ask it to — for example, tapping Check for updates opens this website.
- Optional remote relay. If you turn on the phone relay, messages go through channels you configure yourself (e.g. your own Telegram bot); your credentials stay in a local file and are never sent to us.
This website (verqury.com)
The marketing site is separate from the app. Visiting these pages does not make the desktop app phone home.
- Hosting. The site is static HTML on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may collect standard aggregate server metrics (request counts, security logs) to run and protect the site.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4, delivered through Cloudflare Zaraz (edge tag management — not bundled into the app). This helps us understand how many people visit, which pages they open, and which links they use (for example Download or GitHub). It is for building and improving this site and Gary's portfolio presence — not for selling data or showing ads.
- What we do not do with site analytics. We do not sell personal information, do not use the data for advertising networks, and do not combine it with anything from the local Verqury app (the app never sends usage data to us).
- When you contact us. If you email [email protected] or post an idea (for example on GitHub Discussions), we see what you send — and nothing more from the app.
You can limit analytics cookies and similar storage through your browser settings. Blocking third-party scripts may reduce or stop GA4 collection for your visits; the site content still works without analytics.
